Southern Tier Sports ReportCHENANGO VALLEY — The season came to an end for the Horseheads girls’ lacrosse team with a 18-4 sub-regional loss to Fayetteville-Manlius on Thursday night.
Ellie Jankowski had two goals to lead Horseheads.
FM jumped out to a 7-0 lead, before Horseheads got a pair of goals in the half and trailed 12-2 at the break.
Harley Ackerman and Lexi Lese each had a goal and an assist for Horseheads and Hannah Sydlansky and Emma Guzylak both had assists in the game.
Horseheads finishes the year with a 12-4 record.
