Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison softball team used a six-run second inning n their way to a 13-0 win over SVEC in the Section IV, Class B quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Aurora Parlo was 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored and Taylar Burdick and Teresa Carter each had two hits in the game. Both players scored two runs and Carter had an RBI.
Kayla Rossi had a double, three RBI and a run scored and Carissa Cowan had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
Hailey Clark had a hit and scored a run and Emma Scriven and Payton Gibbs each scored two runs, while Rosie Wheeler had an RBI.
Rossi struck out six and allowed two hits on the mound.
Edison is at Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour at.5 p.m. on Thursday.
