Southern Tier Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — The Horseheads flag football team was edged in the sectional semifinals on Wednesday night, 20-13.
Sydney Blunt had a pari of interceptions in the game for Horseheads, one of them she returned 75 yards for a touchdown.
Maggie Sullivan also had an interception in the game for the Blue Raiders.
Sam Owusu and Alexxa Johnson led the team in flag pulls.
The other Horseheads touchdown came as Gianna Hughey hauled in a 60-yard touchdown pass from Emma Drake and Drake hit Johnson on the extra point.
