Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The year came to an end for boys’ golfers at the medalist tournament at Mark Twain on Wednesday.
The top 20 golfers in the field made it to the second day on Friday. Brevin Bennett of Norwich leads at 3-over 75.
Joe Cain, Jeff Cain, Jackson Palumbo and Hunter Earl of Horseheads and Aiden ranck of Elmira all shot rounds of 90. They missed the second day by three shots each.
Seamus Lynch of Horseheads shot a 94 and Bryce Clark of Corning shot at 98. Liam Ward of Notre Dame shot a 103.
