Corning sophomore Nolyn Proudfoot will be heading to Ohio to play at Western Reserve Academy next year.
The Hawks standout made the announcement on his instagram on Tuesday.
Proudfoot was The Sports Reports Player of the Year after a season in which he averaged 29.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and .21 steals a game.
He led the Hawks to the state final four and had over 1,700 points through his sophomore year. He broke the Corning school record with a 50 point game on the season.
Western Reserve Academy was 26-9 this past year.
Former Maine-Endwell standout Luka Ioannisci is also at the school. He has a D1 offer from Monmouth.
Among the standouts on the current roster are CJ Reef, who has offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, St. Bonaventure and Creighthon.
Last year’s roster includes players like Anthony Thompson, a 5-star recruit, who is the No. 7 overall recruit in the nation, who signed with Ohio State. He was the school’s first McDonald’s All-American.
Last year’s roster includes players like Braylon Webb, who will play at LaSalle and Cam Hailey, who is committed to UMASS.
