Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Corning Hawks girls’ golf team got an even-par round from Delaney Abel as they topped Horseheads on Friday at Soaring Eagles.
Corning shot 191 and Horseheads was at 204.
Abel shot an even-par 36 and Harper Abel shot a 44. Tess Barber had a 54 and Kamryn Fusare shot a 57. Caroline Welch shot a 72 and Margo Mack had a 75.
Jemma Randall led Horseheads with a 46 and Ellie Padgett shot a 49. Lydia Rockwell shot a 53 and Lacy Titsworth had a round of 56. Abby Sumner shot a 65 and Liv Sumner had a round of 75.
SVE had one golfer, with Lauren Gillette posting the second lowest score on the day with a 42.
O-M had two golfers, with Brooke Burns shooting 51 and Avery Nolan was at 65.
