Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — Caitlin Yearick was 3-for-4 with two triples, but the Horseheads softball team fell to Waverly 5-1 on Thursday to wrap up the regular season.
Yearick had the Blue Raiders’ RBI, driving in fellow senior Braelyn Beach on senior night.
Aubrey Howe had the other Horseheads hit.
Howe, Beach, Yearick and Grace Cronin were recognized before the game on senior night.
Reese O’Herron allowed five hits and five runs, three earned, striking out two for Horseheads.
Taylin Gonzalez struck out five and allowed four hits and a run for Waverly.
