STAC TRACK AND FIELD: CORNING BOYS AND GIRLS DOWN ITHACA (19 PHOTOS) (2026-05-13)

CORNING — The Corning boys and girls track and field teams picked up victories over Ithaca on Tuesday night.

The girls won 94-47 and the boys won 92-49.

In the 100 hurdles Cella McLaughlin won in 14.44 followed by Clare McLaughlin (17.48) and Teagan Walsh (18.61).

Corning won the girls’ 3200 relay in 10:03.88 and the boys won in 8:46.96. 

Ethan Wentzel won the 110 hurdles in 15.60 with Joshua Fajardo third in 16.75. 

Zac Radnitz won the boys’ 100 in 11.77 with Liam Krebs third in 12.16. 

Claire Devlin won the 100 in 13.15 followed by Brooklyn Gordon (13.62).

Abigail Wagner won the 1500 in 5:13.93 and in the 1600 Christopher Lawson was second in 4:52.81 followed by Britton Chapman (4:53.13).

Gordon won the 400 in 1:02.64 with Olivia Martinec third in 1:05.65. 

Charles Warner won the boys’ 400 in 53.88 followed by Graham Wightman in 54.34. 

Connor Calkins was second in the boys’ 400 hurdles in 1:03.20 followed by Nicholas Matteson in 1:04.61. 

Alisyn Conway won the 400 hurdles for the girls in 1:12.63 followed by Amanda McEwen (1:13.54) and Aubrey Scott (1:15.99). 

Kateland Dininny won the 800 in 2:30.16 followed by Gabriella Hurd (2:38.08) and Madison Rose (2:39.87). 

Sebastian Boutwell won the boys’ 800 in 2:04.01 and Ashtyn Stark was second in 2:05.25. 

Chinonyerem Okoro won the girls’ 200 in 27.76 with Aurora Jellif third in 28.36. 

Ryan Calkins was second in the 200 for the boys in 23.35 followed by Adrian Blouin in 23.49. 

Uma Pada Sree Thutaram was second in the 3000 in 12:10.54 and in the 3200 Ashtyn Stark won in 10:32.43 with Isaac Ho third in 10:40.11. 

The Hawks won the boys’ 1600 relay in 3:43.95. 

Maxwell Jennings won the pole vault at 13-feet followed by Wentzel (12-feet, 6-inches) and Connor Calkins (10-feet, 6-inches).

Freddie Collins was second in the shot at 43-feet, 1-inch followed by Austin Curreri at 41-feet, 11-inches. 

Layla Byzitter won the discus at 100-feet, 10-inches followed by Grace Kio (88-feet) and Kailee Davis (86-feet, 10-inches).

Dwayne Gardiner was second in the long jump for the boys at 19-feet, 2-inches. 

Achille Gallois won the high jump for the boys at 5-feet, 7-inches followed by Grayson Timmons 4-feet, 10-inches) and Keith Huff (4-feet, 10-inches).

Fajardo won the triple jump at 41-feet, 7 3/4-inches and Reese Conway won the pole vault for the girls at 10-feet followed by Lauren Williams (8-feet, 6-inches) and Lauren Younkin (5-feet, 6-inches).

Samantha Harvey won the shot put at 32-feet, 3-inches followed by Davis (30-feet, 3-inches). 

Collins won the discus for the boys at 132-fee,t 8-inches with Owen Bieloski was third at 114-feet. 

Clare McLaughlin was third in the long jump at 14-feet, 1/2-inches and Okoro won the high jump at 4-feet, 8-inches followed by Marie Sweet and Aubrey Scott both at 4-feet, 4-inches.

McEwen won the triple jump at 33-feet, 5 1/4-inches.
