SECTION 4 GIRLS' GOLF: ROCKWELL TIES FOR MEDALIST HONORS AS HORSEHEADS IS EDGED BY WAVERLY BY ONE SHOT (2026-05-11)

HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads girls’ golf team was edged by one shot against Waverly at Soaring Eagles on Monday.

Waverly shot 213 and Horseheads was at 214. O-M had three golfers.

The Blue Raiders got a 51 from Lydia Rockwell, who tied for medalist honors. Jemma Randall shot a 52 and Lacey Titsworth had a round of 55, while Ellie Padgett shot a 56. 

Live Sumner shot a round of 69 and Abby Sumner had a round of 73. 

Emelia Mitchell of Waverly tied for medalist honors with a 51 and Addison Hunt shot a 53, while Sophia Sileo shot a 54 and Olivia Cheresnowski shot a 55. Alina Nichols shot a 63 and Tabby Lynn had a round of 79. 

Brooke Burns of O-M shot a 66 and Avery Nolan shot a 68, while Emma Bailey had a round of 76.
