Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning Hawks boys’ lacrosse team picked up a 4-1 win over Ithaca on Friday night.
Kohl Hogue had four goals and an assist and Clayton Smith had three goals.
Parker Chapel and Joe Fucito each had a goal and an assist and Dylan Brewster had two goals.
Taylor Freelove had two assists.
Landy Proudfoot had 10 saves in goal and Casey Hale was 5-for-12 on face-offs.
“Tonight we played a complete game in all facets,” Corning coach Chris Hogue said. “Our energy was great and we just committed to doing all the little things, and play as a team, against a quality Ithaca team.”
