Southern Tier Sports ReportITHACA — The Corning girls’ golf team suffered their first loss of the season on Monday, being edged by Lansing at Ranic Golf Course.
Lansing shot 191, Corning was at 195 and Notre Dame shot 269.
Delaney Abel was dominant in earning medalist honors with a 32 for Corning and her sister Harper Abel shot 45. Tess Barber had a 51 and Kamryn Fusare shot a 67. Margo Mack shot a 71 and Caroline Welch had a 74.
Hailey Baughan shot a 39 to lead Lansing and Alessandra Monacelli shot 44, while Farren Snyder shot a 49. Emily Lombardi had a round of 59, while Harper Ivery shot a 71.
Emma Steed shot a 46 to lead Notre Dame and Sophia Sramek shot a 63. Sabrina O’Connor had a round of 70 and Simone iller shot a 90.
