STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS EARNS 15-0 SHUTOUT WIN OVER VESTAL (2026-05-01)

VESTAL — The Horseheads boys’ lacrosse team scored six first-quarter goals on their way to a 15-0 shutout win over Vestal on Friday night.

Ben Potter had eight saves in the shutout. 

“I could not be prouder of the way the boys came out tonight,” Horseheads coach Jason Neubauer said. “This was a total team effort from start to finish.”

Brogan Sullivan had three goals and four assists and Owen Johanson had four goals.

Zack Bennett had two goals and Liam Kelly had a goal and an assist.

Johnny Lowe, Colin Phillips, Ethain Bailey, Quinton Mosher and Keenan McCarthy all had goals in the win. 

Boe Briggs was 14-for-17 on face-offs for Horseheads. 

Horseheads hosts Union-Endicott on Tuesday.
