Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — Aiden Ranck hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Elmira baseball team beat Horseheads 2-0 on Thursday night.
It was a pitcher’s dual between Logan Demember and Mason Markle all game.
Demember allowed just one hit and two walks, striking out eight in the game.
Markle struck out nine and allowed four hits and the two runs with no walks.
Ranck drove in Demember on the home run. Demember had a hit and Quinn Hanrahan had two hits in the game.
Markle had the Horseheads hit in the game.
