Southern Tier Sports ReportWAVERLY — Delaney Abel was two-under 33 for the Corning golf team as they beat Lansing and Waverly to stay unbeaten on the year.
Corning and Lansing entered unbeaten. Corning shot 189, Lansing was at 202 and Waverly shot 215.
Delaney’s younger sister Harper Abel shot a 46 and Kamryn Fusare had a 54. Tess Barber shot a 56 and Caroline Welch shot 69.
Lansing got a 38 Haile Baughan and Alessandra Mowacelli shot a 44. Farren Snyder shot a 53 and Emily Lombard had a 67, while Harper Iveny had a 72.
Waverly got a 50 from Emelia Mitchell and Sophia Sileo had a 61. Addison Hunt shot a 53 and Olivia Cheresnowsky had a 61.
Alaina Nichols shot a 62 and Adrian Pressuer shot a 67.
