Southern Tier Sports ReportWATKINS GLEN — The Notre Dame/Watkins Glen boys’ lacrosse team picked up a 12-2 win over Waterloo on Thursday night.
“Out of section game vs. Waterloo,” ND/WG coach Geoff Crossley said. “Boys played well tonight in game one of a three games in three days series. We played tough against a physical Waterloo team. This was good preparation going into tomorrow’s game vs. Dryden and Saturday’s makeup game vs. Seton.
“Had another great defensive effort from everyone. We had 45 ground balls on the night and continued to work hard on both sides of the field.”
Landon English had four goals and four assists for Notre Dame and Finn Schweizer had two goals and two assists.
Sam Hohle and Matt Keough each had two goals and Caden Hall and Garrett One both had goals, while Liam McCloy and Callum Biers each had assists.
Declan Barry had six saves for ND/WG.
