STAC BOYS' LACROSSE: CORNING ROLLS TO 13-1 WIN OVER ELMIRA AS THREE NET HAT TRICKS (2026-04-28)

CORNING — The Corning Hawks got a 13-1 win over Elmira on Tuesday night as three players scored three goals in the game. 

“I thought we jumped out very aggressive on both ends offensively and defensively,” Corning coach Chris Hogue said. “We played with intensity and energy and now need to carry that over as ew travel to play perennial state power McQuaid on Thursday.”

Kohl Hogue and Joe Fucito each had three goals and two assists and Dylan Brewster had three goals in the game.

Clayton Smith had a goal and two assists and Carter Proudfoot, Taylor Freelove and Baker Chapel had goals, while Mikey Johnston had an assist.

Landyn Proudfoot had 10 saves for Corning and Lachlan Asiello had three saves. 

Smith and Casey Hale combined to go 8-for-17 on face-offs. 

Ryan Hughes scored for Elmira.
