Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Elmira softball team celebrated senior night with a 12-1 win over Binghamton on Monday night.
Elmira scored two in the first and four in the second to pull away early in the win.
Cate Lambert and Anna Osborne were each 3-for-4 for Elmira. Lambert had an RBI and two runs scored and Osborne had two RBI and a run scored.
Annabelle Decker and Aleida Agosto each had two hits in the game. Decker had two RBI and two runs scored and Agosto had an RBI in the game.
Madi Smith had a double, an RBI and run scored and Grace Romeo had a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
Rylee Gonzalez had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Madelyn Cavalier had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.
Ava Cornacchio and Hunter Pierce each scored runs in the game.
Agosto struck out five in five innings of one-hit, shutout ball. Pierce struck out three in two innings of relief, allowing one run.
