HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' LACROSSE: WALSH HAS 11-POINT GAME AS CORNING TOPS QUEENSBURY (2026-04-24)

CORNING — The Corning girls’ lacrosse team picked up a 15-7 non-league victory over Queensbury on Friday to move to 6-4 on the year. 

Brynna Walsh had an 11-point game to lead Corning with four goals and seven assists. 

Corning led 9-3 at the half in the win. 

Reagan Slocum had three goals for Corning and Aubrey Rose had two goals and two assists, while Roni Nevins and Elaina Hall each had two goals.

Callie Usher and Sydney Yrsha each had two goals for Queensbury and Addie Boechler had a goal and two assists. 

Gianna Marrantonio and Emerson Lochner-Fehl had goals for Queensbury and Sophie Vittengl had an assist. 

Karina Swarthout had a save for Corning and Megahn Winnie had five saves for Queensbury.

Corning had 13 draw controls to 12 for Queensbury.
