Southern Tier Sports ReportVESTAL — The Corning Hawks girls golf team picked up wins over Vestal, Candor and U-E at Apalachin Golf Course on Thursday.
Corning shot a 193 and Vestal was at 210. Candor shot 232 and U-E was at 258.
Delaney Abel earned medalist honors with a 35 for Corning. She shot five shots better than anyone else in the field.
Harper Abel shot 46 for Corning followed by Tess Barber and Kamryn Fusare at 56. Penelope Kutch shot 67.
Vestal got a 40 from Allison Yoon and Sion Jeoung shot 52. Avery Adams shot a 56 and Addi Webb shot 62. Sophie Kocick shot a 63 and Julia Groves was at 67.
Candor got a 53 from Kaedyn Everhart and Emma Fey shot 59, while Jillian Teribury shot 60. Tessa White was at 61 and Gwen Shaw shot 70.
Kennedy Ingraham led U-E with a 57 and Mia D’Alessandro and Holly Winslow shot rounds of 64. Leah Eaton shot 73 and Isabella Troy was at 79. Laura Winslow shot 81.
