Southern Tier Sports ReportSOUTHPORT — The Edison softball team picked up a 14-1 win over Notre Dame on Wednesday night.
Edison scored three in the second, eight in the thirdhand three more in the fourth in the win.
Aurora Parlo was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored and Rosie Wheeler was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI.
Peyton Gibbs had two hits, an RBI and a run scored and Hailey Clark had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.
Kayla Rossi had a hit and scored a run and Carissa Cowan had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.
Cierra Davis and Haleigh Rodriguez each had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
Teresa Carter had an RBI and a run scored and Tayler Burdick scored a run.
Wheeler struck out five in four innings of two-hit, shutout ball and Rossi threw one innings allowing a hit and an unearned run.
Libby Meisner, Layla Sullivan and Liz Young had hits for Notre Dame, with Sullivan scoring and Hannah Bean driving in the run.
Sullivan struck out two on the mound and Kayleigh Ayres struck out one.
