Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning Hawks picked up a 7-0 win over Elmira on Wednesday night.
In first singles Corning’s Derek Guo won 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) over Otto Emerson and at second singles Bryan (Taekyu) Lee of Corning won 7-6, (7-3), 3-6, 1-0 (13-11) over Jan Kirchner.
Jose Manuel Umanzor won 6-3, 6-0 over Bradley Terwilliger at third singles and Dongkyu Lee won 6-0, 6-0 over Ryan Lewis at fourth singles.
Alec Myrick and Aditya Aiyar won 6-1, 6-0 over Aiden Taylor and Aaron Shuster at first doubles and at second doubles Russell Smith and Benedict Hacker won 6-1, 6-0 over De’Sean Stroud and Evan Kirsch.
In third doubles Greggory Pendleton and Jayden Allyn won 6-0, 6-0 over Joey Williams and Anthony Keith.
