SECTION 4 GIRLS' GOLF: ABEL EARNS MEDALIST HONORS AS HAWKS WIN MATCH AMONG FOUR TEAMS (2026-04-13)

CORNING — The Corning Hawks won a match with three other teams at Corning Country Club on Monday afternoon.

Corning shots 193 and Waverly was at 205. Watkins Glen was at 245 and SVE didn’t have a full lineup.

Delaney Abel earned medalist honors with a 39 and Harper Abel shot a 42. 

Tess Barber had a 49 for Corning and Kamryn Fusare shot a 63. Zoe Martin shot 64 and Caroline Welch was at 71.

Sophie Silio led Waverly with a 46 and Addison Hunt shot a 49. Emilia Mitchel shot a 52, while Olivia Charnowski shot a 68. 

Watkins got a 49 fro Emily Melveney and Anna Franzese shot a 63. Callie Tohafijian shot a 65, while Mackenzie Fish shot a 68.

Lauren Gillette shot a 51 for SVE and Kelci Wright had a 67.
