Southern Tier Sports ReportWATKINS GLEN — The Notre Dame baseball team was edged by Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour 4-2 on Monday.
WG/O-M scored a run in the first, a run in the third and two in the fourth to go up 4-0. Notre Dame got runs back in the sixth and seventh.
Casey Kraeger and Colin Strong had the Notre Dame hits. Strongg drove in Anthony Barkley and Sam Klub also scored in the game.
Kraeger went the distance on the mound allowing five hits and four runs, one earned, striking out one.
