Southern Tier Sports ReportWEST GENESEE — The Corning boys’ lacrosse team fell to West Genesee 15-9 in a non-league matchup over the weekend.
Kohl Hogue had three goals and two assists and Dylan Brewster finished with four goals.
Joe Fucito had two assists and Ashton Neatly and Brayden Zimmerman each had goals.
Clayton Smith and Mickey Johnston had assists in the game.
“It was a good measuring stick early in the season playing against the state runner-up last season and perennial powerhouse,” Corning coach Chris Hogue said. “We played hard, now we just need to play with more lacrosse IQ. We have a couple days of practice to get things squared away and then we have Vestal Tuesday night.”
