Southern Tier Sports ReportITHACA — The Corning girls’ lacrosse team led 4-3 at the half, but were edged by Ithaca 7-5 on Thursday.
Brynna Walsh had three goals and an assist for Corning and Christina Peet and Kennedy Driscoll each had goals.
Paisley Emmick and Reagan Slouch had assists for the Hawks.
Ava Fontaine had three goals for Ithaca and Sage Bliss had two goals, while Emma Bakas and Taylor Kerber had goals.
Leslie Scudder had seven saves for Corning and Hailey June had five for Ithaca.
