Southern Tier Sports ReportDRYDEN — The Edison baseball team opened the season with a 14-2 win over Dryden on Monday afternoon.
Tanner Buchanan got the win on the mound, striking out eight against no walks, and three hits. Niko Cheplick had five strikeouts in two innings, allowing not hits or walks.
Jace Schiller had two hits and an RBI and Paxton Hoover had a double and an RBI.
Bently Stroman and Alijuawan Hall each had a hit and two RBI and Braedyn Gulich had a hit, three walks and three runs scored.
