Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Horseheads tennis team fell to Union-Endicott 7-0 on Monday afternoon.
Dom Wood fell to U-E’s Jacob Conti 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and at second singles Andy Mancini topped Horseheads’ Joe Juan 6-1, 6-3.
In third singles U-E’s Gabe Mancini won 6-4, 7-6 (10-8) over Horseheads’ Lincoln Choe and at fourth singles Ketu Patel of Horseheads fell 6-1 6-1 to Carter Holland.
In first doubles U-E’s Jack Kiernan and Henan Bajwa won 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 over OJ Bhushan and Jacob Nah.
In second doubles U-E’s Evan Swavola and Wilder Stratton won 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) over Christian Scibek and Joe Wood and at third doubles’ U-E’s Phillip Lanza and Gavin Phetphongsy won 7-6 (8-6) over Max Doty and Mark Mendez.
