Overall there are nine events this week, though the results of the STAC basketball semifinals could add events to Saturday.

* The Elmira girls’ basketball team tunes up for sectionals with a game at Waverly, while Corning is at Owego and Notre Dame hosts Marathon.
WEDNESDAY (0)
THURSDAY (3)
* The Corning boys’ basketball team plays Oneonta in the STAC semifinals, while on the girls side Horseheads hosts Forks in the STAC Semifinals.
* The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team takes on Trumansburg in the IAC title game.
FRIDAY (2)
* The Corning, Horseheads, Elmira, Edison and ND track and field teams compete in the state qulaifier.
* The Corning, Elmira and Horseheads bowling teams take part in sectionals.
SATURDAY (1)
* The Corning, Elmira and Horseheads bowling teams take part in sectionals.
* The winners of the STAC semifinals for boys and girls basketball compete in the STAC finals at Corning.
