SECTION 4 BOYS' WRESTLING: CORNING'S TEETER AND SOLTIS EACH SECOND AT SECTIONALS (2026-02-14)

BINGHAMTON — Blake Teeter was a runner-up at 144 to just miss a trip to states for the Cornign Hawks boys’ wrestling team at the Section IV Championships. 

Teeter fell in 32 seconds to Lavonte Gibbons of Elmira in the title match. 

The even weights sent two wrestlers to states. 

Carter Soltis was runner-up at 103 to just miss states. He fell by major decision 15-3 to Brody O’Hern of Forks in the title match.

Shane Harlacker was fifth at 110. He had a pin in 3:59 in the fifth-place match. Daniel Bretch was fifth at 118. He had a technical fall win 19-3 int he fifth-place match. 

Caiden Zangerle of Corning was fifth at 126 and Reese Mayhew was sixth at 132. 

Nicholas Woodock was fourth at 138. 

Colton Graham was fifth at 150. Keegan VanCise was sixth at 157. 

Clayton Smith was fourth at 165.Braxton Evans was sixth at 175.
