Southern Tier Sports ReportSports teams head into postseason play as the regular season starts to wind down.
Overall there are 25 events this week, including five evenst on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Here’s a day-by-day look at what is on the schedule, including how many events each day.

* The Edison bowling team hosts Odessa-Montour.
* The Horseheads boys’ basketball team hosts Waverly.
TUESDAY (5)
* The Horseheads girls’ basketball team hosts Canisteo-Greenwood, Elmira hosts Binghamton and Notre Dame hosts Edison.
* The Edison boys’ basketball team hosts Notre Dame and Corning hsots Wellsville.
WEDNESDAY (3)
* The Horseheads, Corning and Elmira swim teams take part in sectional prelims.
* The Edison girls’ basketball team hosts Sayre.
* The Elmira boys’ basketball team is at Binghamton.
THURSDAY (5)
* The Edison boys’ basketball team is at WAtkins Glen and Notre Dame hosts Newark Valley.
* The Notre Dame girls’ basketball team is at Newark Valley.
* The Corning, Horseheads and Elmira divers are at sectional finals at Elmira.
* The Corning track and field team is at McQuaid.
FRIDAY (5)
* Corning, Horseheads and Elmira girls wrestlers are at sectionals at the Binghamton Arena.
* The Edison boys’ basketball team is at Greene and Elmira hosts Seton Cahtolic.
* The Edison girls’ basketball team hosts Watkins Glen.
* The Corning track and field team is at Brockport College.
SATURDAY (2)
* Corning, Horseheads, Elmira and Edison wrestlers head to sectional finals at the arena in Binghamton.
* Corning, Horseheads and Elmira swimmers are at seectional finals at Watkins Glen.
