Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING —- The Corning Community College women’s basketball team picked up a 68-50 over Broome CC earlier this week.
Sarah Reichert led CCC with 23 points and she had six rebounds.
TaylorRae Jones had 14 points with six assists, six rebounds and four steals and Makenna Dunbar had 10 points, seven boards, three assists and three steals.
Maria Smith, of Twin Tiers Christian, had a point.
Elmira grad Rhiannon Perkins has played in 13 games, with two starts, and averages .9 points a game, while Laila Burchard has started nine games, averaging 3.8 points a game.
Elmira graduate Alyvia Heath is averaging 5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds a game for Broome CC this year.
