Southern Tier Sports ReportGROTON — The Horseheads Blue Raiders girls’ wrestling team went 2-1 on the day at the Groton Quad Tournament on Wednesday night.
Horseheads beat Dundee/Penn Yan 35-15, they topped Baldwinsville 31-29, and fell to Groton 39-15.
In the match against Dundee/Penn Yan the Blue Raiders got pins by Sonya Dordoni at 107 pounds, Aliyah Teets (145), Aubrey Howe (152) and Ellisa Bly (235).
Alexis Miles (120), Lily Gullo (126) and Brylee Friend (132) all got forfeit wins in the match.
In the match against Baldwinsville the Blue Raiders got pins from Dordoni (107), Gullo (120), Lily Vesek (138) and Howe (152). Lilly Garrabrant (165) and Bly (235) got forfeit wins.
Against Groton the Blue Raiders got pins by Teets (152) and Bly (235) and Garrabrant (165) had a forfeit win.
