Southern Tier Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — The Horseheads girls’ basketball team went on the road and picked up a 66-49 win over Binghamton.
Sam Bonnell had 23 points and eight assists to lead four Horseheads players in double figure scoring.
Maddie Ribble had 13 points and Maggie Tremaine and Giana Hughey each had 10 points.
“Great road win against a very energetic and tenacious Binghamton team on their senior night,” Horseheads coach Andy Scott said. “The girls got off to a fast start and kept the foot on the gas offensively. Good team win against a very solid opponent.”
Sadie Gustin finished with four points and Lexi Lese had three points for Horseheads. Mya Piecuch finished with two points and Grace Cronin added one point.
