Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Horseheads Blue Raiders boys’ wrestling team celebrated senior night with a 41-35 non-league win over Wyalusing on Tuesday.
Nolan Miller opened with a forfeit win at 103 and senior Josh Knapp won by technical fall 18-2 in 4:32 over Logan Wood at 110, while his brother, and fellow senior Tanner Knapp, won by technical fall 19-0 in 4:29 at 118.
Isaiah Harvey of Wyalusing pinned Nate Miller in 56 seconds at 126 and Horseheads senior Gavin Hornsby won by major decision 14-0 over Boston McMicken at 132.
Blue Raiders senior Kole Zufall won by major decision 17-7 over Griffin Sheldon at 138 and at 144 Damian Saks of Horseheads got an injury default win over Sullivan McCracken.
Reuben Kinney of Wyalusing won by technical fall 20-2 in 3:41 over Horseheads senior Trent Woodward and Jonathan Earle of Wyalusing pinned Blue Raiders senior Aziz Gafsi in 1:09 at 157.
Horseheads senior Zachary Schrage pinned Holden Patrick in 52 seconds at 165 and Conner Earle of Wyalusing pinned James Tousley in 3:13 at 175.
Jaxson Burchard of Horseheads won by technical fall 21-6 in 3:28 over Ethan Vanderpool.
Wyalusing’s Daniel Fox pinned Connor Warrick in 2:30 at 215 and Brenden Wells of Wyalusing inned Zachary Kaiser in 1:31 at 285.
