STAC WRESTLING: ELMIRA HAS ONE CHAMP, SIX PLACE WINNERS AT STAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (24 PHOTOS) (2026-01-24)

BINGHAMTON — The Elmira Express had one champion and six place winners at the STAC Wrestling Championships on Saturday. 

Lavonte Gibbons won the 144-pound title. He had a pin in 3:16 over Anthony Cardinale of Windsor in the final. 

Scott Fairbanks was runner-up at 138. He was edged 4-0 by Dalton Davis of Waverly in the final. 

Elmira’s Carter McKernan was fourth at 110. Hunter Parker was sixth at 132. 

Josh Johnson was sixth at 175 and Dante Wilson finished fourth at 190.
