Southern Tier Sports ReportCANANDAIGUA — Elmira and Corning each had a pair of place finishers at the Revolution at Canandaigua Tournament on Saturday.
Atlantis Cherry of Elmira was third at 132. She pinned Caitlyn Kalunda of Indian River in 30 seconds in the third-place match.
Corning’s Lauren Mahon was fourth at 114 pounds. She was edged 4-2 by Brooklynn Fitzgerald of Hilton in the third-place match.
Rhyss Padgett of Corning was second at 145. She fell to Windsor’s Delaney Dixon in the championship match.
Ayvah Coker of Elmira was runner-up at 235. She fell to the state’s returning state champ, Peyton Mullin of Dundee-Bradford-Penn Yale.
