Southern Tier Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — The Edison wrestling team finished 1-5 on the day at the Mark Cody Duals at Binghamton High School.
Edison beat Trumansburg 54-30.
The Spartans fell to Horseheads 59-20, to Binghamton-Seton Catholic 33-30, to SVEC 36-29, to Minisink Valley 54-17 and to Johnson City 40-20.
The Spartans had four wrestlers go ta perfect 6-0 on the day.
Mason Vanderhoff (118) was 6-0 with two tech falls and a fall and Rocco Franchi (138) had two falls and two major decisions among his six wins.
Jace Schiller (165) had four falls among his six wins and Greg Golden (175) had two falls and four technical falls.
Cameron Southard (126) went 2-4 with a pin and Coleten Erickson (150) went 2-4.
Cameron Richards (190) went 1-3 with a pin and Logan Simmons (190) was 1-4, while Jaeden Baldwin (285) went 1-5 and Daniel Cruz (157) was 0-2.
