Southern Tier Sports ReportENDWELL — The Elmira girls’ basketball team fell on the road at Maine-Endwell on Wednesday night, 58-51.
“Kudos to Maine-Endwell for a hard-fought game,” Elmira coach A’Don Allen said. “We didn’t play up to our standards tonight. We’ll get back in the lab tomorrow and get back to work.”
Mariah Matias had a 32-point game to lead Elmira and Meya Smith finished with 13 points.
Elizabeth Hunter had four points, Abigail aValicenti had two points and Tamiah Brown had a point.
Harper Eagen had 25 points to lead Maine-Endwell.
