Corning — The Horseheads boys’ bowling team beat Binghamton 5-0 on Monday, while the girls fell to the Patriots, 4-1. 

The boys shot 963, 942 and 985 for 2,890, while Binghamton shot 820, 720 and 813 for a 2,353.

Noah Cady led Horseheads with a 228-182-259-669, while Cayden Bowman shot 211-211-239-656. Zane Alexander shot 168-237-166-571, while Gabe Merrill shot 218-189-155-562.

Rob Guardi shot 123-171-294 and Micah Merrill shot 138 for one game. 

The girls shot 445, 442 and 422 for a 1,309, while Binghamton, with four bowlers, shot 438, 451 and 438 for a 1,327 to win by 18 pins. 

Annabell Guardi shot 147-127-159-433, while Addy Perry shot 72-118-72-262 and Joslynn Peters shot a 107-78-66-251.

Sarah Hopkins had a 56-70-74-200 and Summer Folk shot 49-51-100 and Jazmyne Kum shot 63 for one game.
