COLLEGE WOMEN'S SOCCER: ELMIRA GRAD HANRAHAN FINDS NEW COLLEGE HOME AS SHE COMMITS TO UCONN (2025-12-03)

Elmira graduate Emily Hanrahan has a new home for her college soccer future as she committed to play at UConn. 

Hanrahan spent the past two years at St. Joseph’s, leading the team in scoring both years. She finished with seven goals in 2024 as the Hawks reached the Atlantic 10 semifinals. This fall she finished with five goals and two assists.

Harnahan was an all-rookie team selection as a freshman. She started this past season by being named the A1-0 Offensive Player of the Year after two goals and an assist in August wins over Rider and Towson.

Upon was 11-4-3 this past season. They reached the Big East Championship game. They had six wins and a tie in their final seven gaes before the conference title game.
