IAC BOYS' SOCCER: EDISON FINISHES SEASON WITH TIE AGAINST NV (24 PHOTOS) (2025-10-16)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison boys’ soccer team wrapped up the season with a 1-1 tie against Newark Valley on Thursday night.

Newark Valley got on the board first in the 29th minute when Kai Tesseyman scored off an Aiden Alger assist.

Edison, who controlled plenty of the play in the first half, trailed 1-0 at the half.

The Spartans fought hard in the second half and tied it up with an Oliver Riffle goal in the 77th minute off a Blake Deface assist.

Nate Perez finished with nine saves in goal.

Edison finishes 4-10-1 in their first season in 95 years.
