Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Horseheads boys’ soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 1-0 win over Athens on Tuesday night.
Dominic Wood scored with 20 minutes left in the game and Teagan Sullivan had one save in net to preserve the shutout for the Blue Raiders.
Zach Fisher had five saves for Athens.
“Nice way to end the regular season with a win for our seniors,” Horseheads coach Mark Mucci said. “The boys played really well again tonight and controlled the ball and the tempo of the match for most of the night against a good Athens team. Very proud of the effort put forth by the boys.”
