
BRONX — The Corning boys took 13th at the Peter N. Aquilone Memorial Boys’ Eastern States Championship on Saturday.
Corning had a score of 321 and Christian Brothers Academy, from New Jersey, won at 78 points.
Bryce Hammond was 38th in 13:07.7 with Nicholas Ferratella 41st in 13:09.6.
Christopher Lawson was 67th in 13:34.8 and Sebastian Boutwell was 82nd in 13:45.3.
Graham Wightman was 101st in 14:02.6 with Ashtyn Stark 111th in 14:13.9 and Samuel Kirk was 120th in 14:20.3.
The Corning girls took ninth in the Varsity Girls ‘D’ race. Corning had a team score of 243, and Haddonfield Memorial won at 98.
Olivia Martinec was 12th for the girls in 15:49.12. Kateland Dininny was 23rd in 16:34.2 and Abigail Wagner took 30th in 16:42.5.
Kaitlyn Lee was 75th in 18:06 and Lillian Deuerlein was 113th in 18:59.8 followed by Liesel Despain in 117th place in 19:05.9. Madie Sweet was 146th in 20:16.7.
Corning was fourth in the JV A race at 109 points. Morgantown won at 46.
Andrew Miller took 11th in 14:35.5 with Elijah Sonner 14th in 14:44.5. Connor Harrington was 17th in 14:51.5 and Isaac Ballard was 29th in 15:10.9.
Colten Ketchum was 38th in 15:30.3 with Keith Huff one spot back at 15:30.7 and Ryan Madden was 42nd in 15:33.9.
In the girls B JV race Alisyn Conway was 34th in 19:18.6. Macailyn York was 57th in 20:17.5. Aubrey Miller was 86th in 21:44.1. Bella Beres was 113th in 23:21.6.
