It was a 1-0 game at the half, before Horseheads scored five second-half goals.
Teagan Sullivan and Isaac Gillette combined for the shutout in goal.
Jackson Roth had six saves for Greene.
Brayden Spier had a ht trick for Horseheads and Mason Earl, Tommy Klee and Yossif Ahmad each added goals in the gae.
Earl, Alex Vesneske, Aziz Gaffs and Owen Bachert all had assists in the game.
“We started a little slow, but once we got our legs under us the passing and possession looked good,” Horseheads coach Mark Mucci said. “Hit some of the combinations that we have been working on and finished our opportunities today. Great effort by the boys today.”
