Southern Tier Sports ReportBYRON — The Corning Hawks gymnastics team finished fourth on Friday at MCA Gymnastics.
Rush-Henrietta won the meet with a team total of 126.2.
Sophomore Lyla Squier was sixth in the all-around and she tied for seventh on the vault. She was also second on the balance beam with an 8.0 and ninth on the floor with a 8.05.
Sophomore Addison Monichetti was fourth not he vault with a 7.6 and freshman Olivia Grover was seventh on the vault and the bars. She was also fifth on the floor with a personal best score of 8.5.
“The girls competed well this evening,” Corning coach Rebecca Volpe said. “Go Hawks!”
