Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Horseheads volleyball team swept their way past Binghamton on Thursday, 25-11, 25-16, 25-15.
Before the game Kaelyn McCarthy was honored for recently recording her 500th career assist. The seniors also did the my jersey, my impact, honoring teachers who inspired them.
Kayiley McCormick had 10 kills and three aces and Jemma Randall had four kills and two blocks.
Alexxa Johnson had six kills and three aces and Kolby Chaffee had three kills.
Madden Foster had five digs and Emelia Clark had four digs. McCarthy had 24 assists.
The JV team for Horseheads won 25-11, 25-16, 25-8. Hailey Earl had nine aces and seven assists, Peyton Peterson had six assists and five aces and Sam Owusu had four kills.
