Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison boys’ soccer team picked up a big 1-0 victory over SVEC on Thursday night.
Playing their first varsity season in 95 years, the Spartans have now won two straight games and this is their fourth win of the year.
Blake Difasi scored in the 51st minute of the game off an Oliver Riffle assists.
The defense was led by Senior Zach Sternfels and goalkeeper Nate Perez, Braedyn Gulich, Alex Sternfels, Cameron Southard and Difasi.
