ROCHESTER — Area runners found success at the prestigious McQuaid Invitational at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday.

The Corning boys were runner-up in the Bob Bradley Premier for Boys race at 178 points. Great Oak won at 167.

Bryce Hammond was 13th in 15:09.8 for the Hawks and Nick Ferratella was 27th in 15:36. Christopher Lawson was 35th in 15:48.7 and Sebastian Boutwell was 38th in 15:50.9. Ashtyn Stark was 110th in 16:40.8 and Graham Wightman was 140th in 17:01.2. Sam Kirk was 177th in 17:33.6 with teammate Elijah Sonner 179th in 17:37.6. Andrew Miller was 182nd in 17:48.4 and Connor Harrington was 186th in 17:54.

Nicholas Kowal of Horseheads was 128th in 16:52.2 and Gavin Hornsby was 134th in 16:54.6. Max Williams was 152nd in 17:12.5. Dominick Marino was 178th in 17:37.5. Joseph Juan was 189th in 18:10.4. Luke Dordoni was 195th in 18:39.1 and Hunter Lewis was 198th in 18:53.9.

Horseheads’ Mackenzie Baker was 41st in the Bob Bradley Premier for Girls race. Baker finished in 18:42.9.

In the girls’ large school race Olivia Martinec of Corning was third and the team took fifth at 149 points, with Fairport winning at 80. Elmira was 12th.

Martinec finished in 18:33.6. Ella Devlin of Elmira was 10th in 19:34.2. Abigail Wagner of Corning was 15th in 19:50 and teammate Katelyn Dininny was 18th in 19:55.9. Madelyn Wise of Elmira was 38th in 20:51.3 and Molly Doran was 64th in 21:59.7. Liesel Despain of Corning was 86th in 22:36.2. Horseheads’ Sophia Christmas was 88th in 22:45.5. Alisyn Conway of Corning was 100th in 23:23.2 and teammate Emma Pfleegor was 102nd in 23:54.7 and Alexus Borek of Horseheads was 104th in 24:03.8. Amber Mahmoud of Elmira was 106th in 24:13.9 and Horseheads’ Stella Harrison was 109th in 24:34.6. Elmira’s Aubrey Stewart was 114th in 24:55.3. Paityn Walburn of Elmira was 122nd in 25:51.6 followed by Horseheads’ Kayleen Woodhouse (25:52.5) and Elmira’s Molly Duffy (25:58.6).

In the girls’ varsity A-2 (small schools race), Edison was 31st. Madison Hubschmitt was 157th in 23:29.6. Emma Rose Deats was 192nd in 24:12.6. Emma Duggan was 221st in 24:53.9. Olivia Vinsek was 268th in 26:17.6. Olivia Welch was 315th in 28:17.3 followed by Notre Dame’s Lylia Colunio in 28:26.2.

For the boys Edison was 25th and Notre Dame was 31st.

Gavin Meier was 38th for Notre Dame in 16:55.6 and Jameson Duggan of Edison was 76th in 17:42.4. Edison’s Augustus Ector was 97th in 18:02.7. Cameron Kraft of Notre Dame was 157th in 18:58.5.  Carson Balash of Edison was 198th in 19:28. Burke Hilgendorf of Notre Dame was 206th in 19:35. Jeremiah Hubschmitt was 222nd for Edison in 19:49.5. Bobby Sharp of Notre Dame was 287th in 20:49.7. Edison’s Grayson Margeson was 293rd in 20:56.6. Trevor Agan of Notre Dame was 332nd in 22:08.5. Carter Smith of Edison was 334th in 22:11. Jaxon Brewster of Edison was 367th in 23:28.1. Sergio Condo of Notre Dame was 372nd in 23:36.4. Edison’s Shawn Kelly was 404th in 25:42.5.

In the girls’ sophomore race Horseheads’ Suzanne Sydlansky was 18th in 20:53.9. Hannah Sydlansky was 23rd in 21:01.2. The Blue Raiders’ Layla Storch was 120th in 27:49.7. Dexter Bell of Horseheads was 165th in the boys’ sophomore race in 20:17.2. Nolan Miller was 182nd in 20:32.5. Daniel Mosher was 223rd in 21:26.6. Michael Christmas was 233rd in 21:54.2. Pierce Terwilliger was 243rd in 22:201. And Dhruv Shrisuders was 250th in 22:59.1. Noah Walton was 275th in 24:44.  

In the boys’ large school race Elmira was 20th and Horseheads was 22nd. James Lovell of Elmira was 79th in 17:50.2 and Jadon Lagonegro was 82nd in 17:55.7 followed by teammate Gianni Page in 83rd at the same time. Allen Wetmore of Horseheads was 87th in 17:58.8 and teammate Joshua Knapp was 132nd in 19:10.3 and teammate Abdiel Basabakwinshi was 137th in 19:24.5. Elmira’s Aaron Skinkle was 142nd in 19:35.1 and Benjamin Hinman was 157th in 20:04.8. Henry Mletzko of Elmira was 169th in 21:13.4 with Trent Woodward of Horseheads 172nd in 22:01.6 and teammate Toby Tremble 176th in 23:01.9.

Corning’s girls took second in the junior high 3 race (large schools) with a score of 76 points. Saratoga Springs won at 19. Elmira was 16th.

Arabella Clarke of Corning was sixth in 10:13.6 and teammate Vanessa Topielec was eighth at 10:19.7. Kylan Wright was 12th in 10:34.5 and Eleanor Robson was 17th in 10:42.7. Finley Blood was 36th in 11:03.4. Ella Brimmer was 44th in 11:09.6. Jaclyn Lee was 48th in 11:15.9. Mia Owens was 52nd in 11:20.9. Sophia Bender was 65th in 11:36.3. Lillian Matusick was 93rd in 12:03.2. Violet Miller was 110th in 12:22.8. Ammarah Kinsey was 133rd in 13:03.5. Sierra Sabol was 173rd in 14:11.8. Ayrionna Bailor was 182nd in 14:31.1. Arianna Walburn was 209th in 16:05.9. Stella Loftus was 22nd in 17:40.8 and Aleah Mattei was 225th in 18:45.9.

Charlie Wukovitz of Corning won the boys’ junior high race in 8:21.6 with Corning second at 74 points. Saratoga Springs won at 56 points. Oliver Cilip of Corning was sixth in 9:01.3 and Cooper Adriance was eighth in 9:03.4. Nathaniel Carlton was 28th in 9:35.5 and Pascal Boutwell was 31st in 9:37.6. Raphael Boutwell was 50th in 9:52.5. Everett Hunter was 71st in 10:08.7. Mark Miller was 84th in 10:23.7 and Karl Dewald was 92nd in 10:30.1 and Braedyn Copp was 96th in 10:32.9. Chase Reed was 137th in 11:00.8. Lillian Bisson was 148th in 11:08.9 and Owen Lilly was next at 11:10.1. Reis Smith was 202nd in 11:57.5 followed by Benjamin Vang-VanSant in 11:58.1. Simon Blouin was 222nd in 12:17. Charles VanCamp was 240th in 12:36.6. Benjamin Stumper was 285th in 13:22.1 and Michael Millhollen was 289th in 13:32.1 and Colton Worley was 313th in 14:42.3.

Elmira’s Noah Wilbur was 16th in 9:28.8 and Brayden Andrews was 18th in 9:30.1. Alexander Barletta was 140th in 11:03. Emry Bahantka was 184th in 11:39.9. Landon Stein was 226th in 12:20.

Noah Cloke of Horseheads was 25th in 9:34.6. Max Brown was 66th in 10:03.1. Gavin Harmer was 102nd in 10:36.9 and Mason Dispense was 126th in 10:53.2. Andrew Snedecor was 207th in 12:05.4. Rozzwell Weaver was 318th in 15:18.2 and Carson Bullers was 324th in 15:57.8.

In the smallest school junior high race Notre Dame’s Kaylin Moore was 54th in 11:24.2. Edison’s Mark Schillo was 32nd in the boys’ junior high race in 9:48.9. Teammate Kegan Hartwell was 94th in 10:38.5.

Corning was seventh in the large school JV race at 194 points and Elmira was 21st and Horseheads was 25th.

Coleten Ketchum was 30th in 17:50.5 followed by Ryan Madden in 17:50.7 and Isaac Ballard was 33rd in 17:51.6. Keith Huff was 53rd in 18:32.1 and Britton Chapman was 75th in 18:55.5. Thomas VanSlyke was 88th in 19:19.5. Sebastian Salgado was 93rd in 19:26.2 and Jax Adams was 100th in 19:38. Gavin Bierwiler was 107th in 19:50.9. John Shanchuk was 121st in 20:14.1 and Brock Allington was 126th in 20:21.6. Reed Fuchs was 139th in 20:48.4. Silas Ruza was 164th in 21:20.7 and Wyatt Bloodsmith was 176th in 21:28.4. Max Keegan was 196th in 22:01.2. Dwayne Gardiner was 216th in 22:42.7. Tristian Pratt was 247th in 24:08.7.
