Southern Tier Sports ReportVESTAL — After falling behind two sets, the Corning Hawks won the next two sets, before falling to Vestal in five on Tuesday.
After going back and forth in the final set, Vestal came out on top 15-9. Vestal won the first two sets 25-13, 25-10, before Corning won 26-24 and 28-26.
Paisley Emmick had 11 points, an ace, 34 assists and seven digs and Sam Molingou had an ace, nine kills, a block and three digs.
Delaney Castle had eighth kills and nine digs and Char Starns had seven kills and four blocks.
