CANDOR — The Notre Dame girls’ soccer team starts the week with a shutout win at Spencer Van-Etten/Candor 3-0.
“Came off a long week of little play,” Notre Dame coach Joe Picco said. “Played on thick grass that certainly affected our play. Excited about the play and their true attempts to play a possessive game format.
“Outshot SVEC 22-5. We have to be better in the attacking third with better quality shots. That responsibility sits on my shoulders.”
MK Young had two goals for Notre Dame and Jhamariah Maxwell had a goal and two assists.
